What natural predators are there in Madagascar?

    The Fossa is a carnivore related to a mongoose. It eats insects, reptiles, rodents and lemurs.

    Fanaloka is a predator and a type of civet.

    The Narrow-striped Mongoose is a small carnivore in Madagascar,

    The Tenrec is a little shrew/mouse type animal and are insectivores.

    There are many species of lizard, chameleon and geckos.

    The Nile Crocodile can be found in freshwater habitats in Madagascar

    There are also several snake species that are not toxic to humans but are still predators.

    The only amphibian in Madagascar are toads but they also are predators or insects and sometimes small vertebrates.
