Reindeer live in forests and tundra (land with small trees and plants), these areas include: Northern Asia, Europe, Siberia, Alaska, Canada, and Greenland. There are Reindeer here in the U.S. too, I remember seeing a group of them in Northern Arizona while visiting the Grand Canyon in late October. Reindeer are known for living in the tundra during the summer months and moving south in the fall. They mostly like to live where it’s cold because in hot places, reindeer tend to lose their coats, which also happen to be waterproof (Tamaki, 2011).
