“Garbage Warrior” is a feature-length (meaning as long as your typical fiction movie like “Where the Wild Things Are” or “Shrek”) documentary about the architect Michael Reynolds and his struggle against the government to build sustainable houses. Michael Reynolds has the idea that he can build a fully self-sustainable house (gets its own heat, water, food, and energy) from the things we throw away every day. He not only thinks that he can build these houses, but that anyone in any area or country can build houses like this. The documentary was filmed over the course of 3 years in Mexico, India, and the US.
