What is mountaintop removal?

    it’s where a mountain top gets blown up so that a valley can be filled.  Up to 800 feet of a mountain is removed during the process.

    Mountaintop removal is the name for the process of blowing up the peaks of mountains and dragging the rubble to a nearby valley or hollow in order to mine for things like coal more conveniently.
