Coppertone has 70, Banana Boat has 85, and Neutrogena has 100. Many dermotologist claim these high numbers are just for advertisiing, and they don’t really perform much better than SPF 30 when used correctly.
Hey there! I read that SPF stand fors Sun Protection Factor – most of us knew that. However, what most of us forget is that then number (i.e. SPF 30) doesn’t equate a higher protection level. It’s actually the number you use to help determine how long you can stay in the sun. For example, if you can stay out in the sun 15 minutes before burning, using a sunscreen with an SPF of 10 would allow you to resist the burn for 10x longer or 150 minutes.
