The town of Pernik, Bulgaria is considered to be the most polluted city in the European Union. The city is home to many metallurgy plants all of which contribute to an extreme pollution problem.

Just above West Geremany, between Amsterdam and Frankfurt, is also a very large pollution problem. This area is home to Germany’s steel production and these plants cause extreme pollution for that part of Europe as well.

Pittsburgh, PA, home to America’s steel industry is also rated as the most polluted city in the North America.
