The Poison Dart Frog is the world’s most poisonous animal. A pinhead-sized drop (2 micrograms) of the frog’s poison is enough to easily kill a human being. One frog’s venom (and the frog is only 2 inches long) is potent enough to kill 10 adult humans or 20,000 mice. The frog’s skin is toxic, so it can seriously harm or kill animals that merely touch it. Next time you’re in the rainforests of South or Central America, I’d avoid them.
