There are a lot of ways to do this. You don’t need a fortune to go green. You can start off with the free stuff by recycling! Not only are you helping the environment, you’d get money back too. You can also wash with cold water instead since this saves you energy. Also, unplug appliances that are not in use because they can drain energy even when not in use, for as long as they remain plugged. If you can, invest in energy-saving light bulbs. To add any conservation you do can help, like turning the lights off when you aren’t in the room, using naturally lighting during the day, keeping the temperature no less than 77 degrees during the summer and no higher than 68 degrees during the winter. If you don’t work too far from home walk or ride your bike (that will also help you save a ton of money on gas).
