What is the most hardy plant in the world?

Planst adapt to their environment, so the hardiest plant varies depending on climate. In Death Valley, the world’s hottest place, a variety of plants thrive including the thorny mesquite, crewbean, arrowweed, and desert holly. In antarctica, the world’s coldest place, only two survive, Antarctic hair grass and a cushion-forming pearlwort. Mosses and Lichens, although not strictly classified as plants, also thrive in the cold dry south pole. Soybeans have been found growing in the irradiated soil near Chernobyl.
