    According to the Environmental Protection Agency’s Fuel Economy Guide for the 2009 model year, the most fuel-efficient sports car/coupes is the Nissan Altima Coupe, which gets 23 mpg city and 32 mpg highway and has a carbon footprint of 7.1 tons/yr of CO2.

    Other cars that made the list include: the Audi TT Coupe, Audi A4 Cabriolet, Pontiac G6 Coupe, Honda Accord Coupe, Volkswagen Eos, Chrysler Sebring Convertible, Mitsubishi Eclipse, Pontiac Solstice, and the Saturn Sky.
