What is the most common type of whale that beaches itself?

There isn’t one set species that is known to beach themselves, however the whales that do beach themselves tend to have common characteristics in common.  Usually beached whales are toothed rather than baleen (no teeth), because there social characteristics often don’t bring them close to shore and thus they don’t realize that they have to behave differently closer to shore.  Whales that generally live close to shore usually dont get stranded in masses, but they are occasionally known to become individually stranded.
