If you’re asking what is the most common type of dinosaur genus found, it may be the hadrosaur maiasaura, more commonly known as the duckbill. As of 1990, at least 200 specimens had been found as oppose to 120 specimens of Psittacosaurus, which at that time was in 2nd place when it came to numbers. Though this was some time ago, very few fossils per type of dinosaur have been found. For example, as popular as they are, only around 50 triceratops and T-rex specimens have been found. In the cases of many dinosaur genera, paleontologists have only ever found 1 specimen of the genre.
