    The Earth’s crust is comprised of three types of rock, igneous metamorphic, and sedimentary. Among these rocks are the various elements of the Earth, the most common being Silicon Dioxide, (SiO2), making up more 60 percent molecules in the crust. Meanwhile silicon is the most common element found in the Earth’s crust.
