Cotton is the most common fabric for clothing in the Western world and probably the whole world. It is supposedly popular because of its breathability and lack of pilling, as well as the fact that it is wearable year round. Cotton is a natural fiber and is easy to take care of, because it is strong and absorbent and easy to clean. Cotton is used in clothing and home furnishing. It does wrinkle easily, so it is often blended with polyester.
