What is the most common cause of a forest fire?

There are generally two types of causes for forest fires: natural and man-made. For natural forest fires, lightning, earthquakes, and a combination of high temperature with low humidity are the most common causes. For man-made fires, people being negligent is the most common cause. For instance, not extinguishing cigarettes completely is one way forest fires can start. Also trains can cause fires occasionally and fires started by campers can get out of control.
