Until age seventy-five, the most common break is a wrist fracture (a fractures is the same as a break). After that, we’re most likely to fracture our hips. The most common reasons for any break are a blow, a fall, other trauma such as overuse or improper use, osteoporosis, osteopetrosis, Paget’s disease, and bone tumors.
