Televisions, or basically anything with a remote or one of those “wall warts” or big black boxes on the plug. Appliances with remotes “stand ready” to be turned on via remote signal and therefore use a lot of vampire power. Wall warts pull power whether or not they are on or off. The best way to avoid vampire power is just to unplug things when not in use or plug them into a power strip and flick the power strip on and off to save yourself the hassle of plugging and replugging all the time.
