Australia is home to many species of endangered animals.  For many years the Bridled Nail-Tail Wallaby was actually thought to be extinct, but is now the most endangered.  Many now reside in several habitats.  The things that endanger them the most are the following: loss of habitat, competition with livestock, and prey (wild dogs, feral cats, and foxes).
