    It depends on the specific type of sugar.  I’ve attached a link with a list of chemical formulas for each type.

    Common table sugar is called sucrose, which is also probably the most abundant pure organic chemical on earth.  IT has the molecular formula of  C12H22O11.  The link I attached shows a molecular model of sucrose as well as some other sugars.

    All sugars formulate from glucose and the base is C(n)H(2n)O(n)
    n = any number.
