Microfiber is a type of synthetic fiber that is extremely fine. Under definition, it is fiber of less than one denier, where fine silk is approximately 1.25 denier. Woven, microfibers can produce a very lightweight cloth that is still sturdy and strong. Use in weaving ropes also makes the rope stronger and more resilient.
