According to a representative of Neozoon, their current form of street art is intended for us ask questions about and reconsider our relationships with animals in a modern setting. By placing animals once worn as clothing in the shape of the animals they come from in various locations, they both symbolically resurrect the animal as well as give attention to the reasons it was no longer living to begin with. These reasons are often tied to the locations where these animals are placed, such as near a former bear pit in Berlin and near the La Villette slaughterhouse in Paris. The representative is fascinated by our paradoxical relationship with animals both as intensely beloved pets and as plastic-wrapped meat.
