What mammal grows the most throughout its life?

The growth rates of most mammals are set mainly by two things; our habitat and our genes. Most influential are our genes, though malnourishment or other ecological stimuli can alter growth. The kangaroo however seems to defy this trend, as scientists now believe the animal will continue to grow so long as its environment provides the adequate nutrients for continued growth.
