What makes our sun so bright?

I don’t know what you mean by “so bright.” Like all stars, the sun is the site of thermonuclear reactions, which give off light. It is also the closest star, so it is brighter than any other star, as seen from earth.

It’s simple; even though it’s a relatively small star compared to many others in the universe, it still emits a huge amount of light energy and is in close proximity to Earth. The sun’s power is 380,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 watts (or 380 trillion trillion).
