Green Earth Technologies, the company that creates G-oil, or green oil, has a few reasons for being considered green.

The company’s products are made of animal or plant fats that can biodegrade, rather than a petrochemical base. Additionally, it isn’t harmful to humans. The oil biodegrades between 70% and 90% during a 9 day span, being noted as an ‘Ultimate Biodegradable’ product. Green Earth Technologies also uses recycled papers and plastics for its containers and labels.
