An ecosystem is made up of plants, animals, and smaller organisms that “live, feed, reproduce, and interact in the same area or environment.” These ecosystems can be quite large, or very small. There are similarities and differences in all ecosystems, but they can all be damaged by the growth of human population.
An ecosystem is made up of abiotic (nonliving) and biotic (living) organisms. You have organisms reproducing, consuming, decomposing, interacting, and existing within a certain space. They are affected by the abiotic factors like weather. They change, grow, and seem to follow a balanced cycle (in a perfect world). Each part is essential to the whole.
