There is really no way of telling what the longest sailing voyage ever is because people have been sailing the seas for hundreds of years. With that said, a man recently claimed to have completed the longest nonstop sailing voyage in 2007. His claims are currently under review by the Guinness Book of World Records.
Reid Stowe set sail in April 2007 and spent three years at sea, writing a book, doing yoga, and painting. His vessel was built 30 years ago by his father and was named Anne after his mother.
