What is the longest running nuclear submarine that we have?

The first nuclear submarine, the USS Nautilus, ran from 1955 until 1980 — that’s 25 years. If there is a Nuclear Submarine which was put in action before 1985 (which I bet there is), then this one will have lasted longer. Yup, the USS Ohio was commissioned in 1981 and is still in service today. That’s an Ohio Class submarine… but apparently there are two other classes — The Los Angeles Class and the Sturgeon Class —– which have been in commission even longer — 1976 (until present) and 1964 (to 2004) respectively.
