The longest automobile race in the world was the “Around the World in 80 Days Rally” that took place in the year 2000. It covered 18,000 miles and started and ended in London. It lasted from May to July. The cars had to be airlifted twice to cover this journey, from Beijing to Alaska and from New York to Marrekesh.
