The Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway is both the longest and fastest high-speed train in the world, covering a 922 kilometer journey in a little less than 3 hours.  The train travels 313 kilometers (194 miles) an hour, and China is actually planning even more construction of similar high-speed trains.
