Green beans vary in size and type since there is no one type of bean that they come from. Instead, the “green” part of the term green beans refers to how it is unripened version of any bean. Mostly broken into two different groups of bean, bush beans and pole beans. The longest green bean recorded measures in at right around four feet long.
