Usually tigers live 10 to 15 years out in the wild and 16 to 20 years in captivity.
Tigers have an average lifespan of 8 to 15 years in the wild, but some do live longer than others and reach ages up to 26.
If a tiger lives without being hunted for or getting sick, it has about 22 years or few additional years.
