Maple trees have different lifespans, depending on the type.
Red Maple: 130 years (average); 300 years (max)
Silver Maple: 100 years (average); 125 years (max)
Sugar Maple: 300 years (average); 400 years (max)
Various types of maple trees have different lifespans. While sugar maples have a lifespan of about 300 years, red maples have a lifespan of 70 years. The range is so much, so it’s hard to generalize a life span of all maple trees.
