Dust is very fine (less than 500 micrometers in diameter) particulate mater. Lead dust is either dust that consists entirely of the metal lead, or more commonly simply dust that is contaminated with particles of lead. Lead can be found naturally in the soil and in some areas the dust/dirt is full of lead contamination. Lead has been added to paint and gasoline, it can also be found in ammunition. Lead dust is simply pulverized  lead contaminated stuff. When inhaled or ingested it can cause lead poisoning.
