The depths of the oceans have been described as the world’s last unexplored frontier. There is still so much to learn about the oceans which cover three-quarters of the world’s surface and science has only skimmed the surface.
The oceans are the last unexplored frontier. We know more about our moon than we do about the deep ocean and the animals that inhabit it. It truly represents a frontier that we need to understand if we are to fully comprehend the richness of life on this planet. There have been several unmanned expeditions to the deep ocean using robots, but still there is much to be learned about the habitat.
