The largest windfarm in Canada was set to be built sometime before November 24th, 2008, so It could be built by now. It would be in southern Manitoba and can generate 300 megawatts of electricity through the use of 130 turbines. The delivery of its power is expected to start in 2011. It will displace 800,000 tons of greenhouse gases, which is equal to taking 145,000 cars off of the road.
