The largest volcano in the world is the Mauna Loa Volcano in Hawaii. It is about 17 km, or 56,000 feet tall, though only 4 km of it is above sea level. Its area is 5,271 km squared and its volume is 80,000 km squared. It is also the world’s most active volcano, and has made 85% of all of the Hawaiian Islands.
