In 2006, a biologist in Cartagena, Colombia claimed to have in possession of what may be the world’s largest shrimp. “The size of this shrimp exceeds the average size. The average length is 21 centimeters and this one is 40 centimeters.” The black tiger shrimp is farmed everywhere in Asia, particularly in Thailand.
Do you know if these regions catch or raise their shrimp in a sustainable fashion?
