What is the largest tree ever cut down using an axe?

    The biggest trees harvest for timber are the Pacific ocast Redwoods. These trees can range in the 300 ft+ range with a diameter of 25 ft or more. While these trees would days to weeks to cut down with an axe, the value of one tree was worth more than an a months salary to the chopper.
