    Since 1880, there have been 2 tornadoes recorded in Arizona that reached F3 on the Fujita Scale. One occurred on August 4, 1957, and the other on August 10, 1972, although nobody was injured or died. They are tied for the most damaging earthquakes in Arizona history.
