The largest species of rattlesnake is the Eastern Diamondback.  The venomous diamondback can reach lengths of 33-72 inches and weigh up to ten pounds.  The majority of Eastern Diamondbacks live in Florida and Southern Georgia, but their habitat ranges from lower parts of North Carolina to East Louisiana.
