    Actually, the term panther was a name given to a jaguar with black coloration; it isn’t a type of big cat in and of itself. If we’re talking that classification panthera, then the abarton112’s answer is correct. If you’re referring to the black jaguar, then it’s the Onca Jaguar, at around 290 lbs.
