The largest individual panels are manufactured by T-Solar Global. They are 2.3 meters by 2.6 meters, and are “the equivalent to the combined area of over six, 42 inch plasma TVs”.

The largest contiguous solar panel installation was, as of 2006, in Germany (http://www.treehugger.com/files/2006/04/largest_solar_p.php). Apparently an even larger installation will be coming to Arizona in 2011 that will cover 1900 acres.
