The largest rodent in the world is the Amazon’s Capybara. These relatives of the Guinea Pig are found in the wetlands and marshes of the Amazon basin and can grow to be four feet long and weigh over 140 pounds. They are herbivores, grazing mostly on aquatic plants, fruits seeds, etc. and are the favorite prey of the famous Anaconda.
