Unsure of the largest river, but the Hudson river is the longest river in New York. It’s source is the Tears of the Clouds lake. It runs for 315 miles starting in the Adirondacks and emptying into the Atlantic ocean past New York City. At it’s widest, the river expands to 3 miles from shore to shore.
