Forest Park in Portland, Oregon is the largest forest in the state. It is one of the largest urban forest reserves in the entire U.S.
I feel a little silly re-answering this question, but I hope that no one comes across it and takes the misinformation for truth. Forest Park is most certainly not the largest forest in Oregon! In fact, it’s rather small. Forest Park is just over 5000 acres, while there are multiple forests in Oregon that are over a million acres in size. The Willamette National Forest and the Deschutes National Forest are both examples of the huge, over million acre forests in Oregon. Many more are within the hundreds and tens of thousands of acres. Forest Park, on the other hand, is really just a big, forested park, not a forest on the scale that Oregon is used to.
