The Aria in Las Vegas is the largest LEED Gold certified hotel in the world and the ITC Royal Gardenia in India is the largest LEED Platinum certified hotel.
The Aria is part of Las Vegas’s beautiful City Center, a dynamic complex filled with hotels, casinos and full-time residences, many of which can boast LEED Gold certification.
The ITC Royal Gardenia calls India home and is a seven-star ‘super’ luxury hotel that pays homage to the Garden City of Bengaluru. Every aspect of the hotel is green, from the sustainable furniture to the LED lights strategically placed throughout the hotel.
The ITC Royal Gardenia is the largest LEED Platinum certified hotel. It is located Bengaluru, India and has 292 guest-rooms. The sheets and linen are all organic. The toliets only flush gray water. The roof of the Lotus Pavilion has grass growing on it. They also harvest rainwater. Upon check-in, guests are given a “green-introduction kit.”
