     As of 2008, the Palazzo Las Vegas was the largest LEED certified building in the world, earning a Silver rating. 

    The ITC Hotel Royal Guardenia in India, though, is the largest LEED Platinum in the world.

    The Palazzo Las Vegas currently holds the record for largest LEED-certified building in the world.  It achieved silver LEED status during construction for its building practices and design, which include using astroturf and drip irrigation, water-conserving fixtures, solar power, and diverting 70% of its construction waste from landfills.
