The biggest lake in Canada is Great Bear in the Northwest Territory with 31,328 squared km. According to the Canadian Encyclopedia, Lake Superior (82,100 km) and Lake Huron (59,600 km) in Ontario are both larger lakes, but part of the measurements are in US territory.
Following the three lakes mentioned by jenn, the 4th-15th largest lakes in Canada are the Great Slave, Erie, Winnipeg, Ontario, Athabasca, Reindeer, Nettilling, Winnipegosis, Nipigon, Manitoba, Lake of the Woods, and Dubawnt. Out of these, Erie, Ontario, and Lake of the Woods are all partly located in the United States.
