What is the largest flying beetle?

    The Titan beetle (Titanus giganteus)is a South American beetle that can grow up to 6.5 inches long. It is the largest beetle in the world. It has an extremely strong bite as an adult, and in its larvae stage acts as a wood-borer that lives inside of trees. But, we’ve never found the larvae before and know little about it. Its possible that in the larval stage it takes years to reach full size.

    I couldn’t get the picture to come up. Here is one that hopefully works. That is one big beetle.
