In addition to what pperlin has said, the size of some fish, like catfish are now increasing to weights over 100 pounds. For anglers they are very happy, better cetches. For biologists they are starting to worry because this is going to make the catfish more viable to being caught, since they will not be able to escape as easily, while at the same time, other organisms will be being eaten more than they should be.
